Dr. Eric Betterton (Principal Investigator for UA SBRP Project 6) has been appointed Department Head of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Arizona. With his ongoing scientific accomplishments and leadership capabilities, Dr. Betterton will certainly escalate the department to new heights.  

As stated by the College of Science Dean, Joaquin Ruiz, “Eric has been in the department for many years and has demonstrated his deep interest in the well-being of the unit and has also demonstrated that he is a deeply thoughtful individual through the many discussions we have had”.
