UA SBRP investigator, Dr. R. Clark Lantz recently had his manuscript entitled, “Pulmonary Biomarkers Based on Alterations in Protein Expression Following Exposure to Arsenic” accepted for publication in Environmental Health Perspectives please refer to citation below. The research objective described in the manuscript is to identify potential pulmonary protein biomarkers in the lung lining fluid of mice chronically exposed to low dose arsenic and to validate these protein changes in human populations exposed to arsenic. This manuscript uses data collected from the Community Based Prevention Intervention Research project on arsenic in Ajo, Arizona that was funded by a supplemental grant to our previous SBRP award led by Jefferey Burgess, MD, MPH, Department of Environmental and Community Health.
