UA SBRP Co-hosts 24th Annual Mountain West Society of Toxicology Meeting  |
UA SBRP Investigator Rich Vaillancourt is the Vice President of the Mountain West Society of Toxicology and has organized the 24th Annual meeting titled: Pharmaceuticals in Wastewater: Biological Impact of Endocrine Disruptors and Other Compounds. Together with the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology and the Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center, the University of Arizona’s SBRP is hosting the meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona on September 7 – 8, 2006. The mission of the Society of Toxicology is to advance the health sciences through the understanding of toxicology. With this in mind, Dr. Vaillancourt has recruited a wide variety of speakers to discuss the issue from various biomedical and environmental perspectives, as well as representing the stakeholders surrounding the issue. |
